The client desired an aesthetically pleasing, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for adults combined with a design that is fun for children.

Aesthetically, the client desired very little floral display focusing instead on textures, foliage colors and ground covers.  This project took place in the front and side yards, and eventually enveloped the entire property into one cohesive landscape.

Within one cohesive landscape, each area has its own identity; Two connected water features- one, a stream fed waterfall into a pond, and the other, a tall, pondless fall that guards a hidden cave, a woodland dotted with things to discover such as bells and a spirit house, two courtyard gardens, a secret contemplation garden, sitting areas and paths to link it all together.
