An award-winning water feature, built to sit into the natural contour of the hillside.
We designed and built this award-winning project to sit into the natural contour of the hillside, so the cascade feels like it had always been there.
To make the most of the slope, we built the feature in several levels: water stepping across changing elevations, with pools that break and quiet the flow. Large boulders and smaller river rocks add texture and slow the eye, while the sound of moving water carries across the whole garden.
Deciduous and evergreen accents, layered with perennial flowers, settle it into its surroundings until the built and the wild are hard to tell apart.
This garden was honored with the ALCC Excellence in Landscape Grand Award.
