This koi pond garden was made to link the inside of the house and carry it outward into a set of outdoor rooms.
Several cascades end in a koi pond you can reach two ways, across bridges or along winding paths. Large moss-covered boulders frame the view toward the mountains and the valley beyond.
For all its openness to the land, the house keeps the feeling of a secret, secluded hideaway, and is home to several koi.
