Mountain Tranquillity Garden
Private solace from the city pace
This client asked for a mountain retreat that caught the sounds and sights of the high Rockies, a quiet place to step away from the pace of the city.
We built it around a high alpine stream, with a large in-ground spa and natural stone decking for quiet evenings or louder ones with friends and family.
We set large native boulders into a natural-looking waterfall and accents, scattered Rocky Mountain wildflowers across the property, and used ornamental grasses around the water.
We worked spots into the design to show the owner's collection of Eastern spiritual art, and planted native evergreens and shrubs around the edges for privacy.
