A Japanesque garden
The homeowner wanted a calm, healing place that suited the beauty of her home.
She wanted the garden to sit easily with the clean lines and the warm, modern, Asian feel of the house, and to echo the natural land around it. We got there by paying close attention to how the design would last and to the materials we chose.
Putting a Japanese viewing garden and a Japanese strolling garden together makes this one unusual. It gives a new installation a sense of history, and it has brought some peace into the client's life.
